When the question you walked in with isn’t the right question. Lila’s dashboard pushback ›
The strategic work that decides whether your build matters has always lived in $200K consulting engagements and six-figure CSO hires. It doesn’t have to anymore.
Every session walks through the same four stages of strategic work, the shape a senior advisor would use across six weeks of meetings, compressed into a twenty minute conversation.
You come in with a question or an idea. Zynkex listens for the goal hiding underneath it, the thing you actually want to make true, and offers a sharper version for you to confirm or redirect. Together you lock the session onto what you really need to solve, not the framing you walked in with.
Zynkex helps you push your idea to its strongest version. It surfaces assumptions you didn’t notice you were making, names trade-offs you’d otherwise gloss, and compares the audience you think you’re serving to the one your work actually reaches. You decide what to defend, refine, or change. The strategy gets built on a frame that holds.
You and Zynkex build the strategy together. Zynkex brings methodology developed specifically for this work; you bring the context only you have. Together you name the load-bearing constraint, decide what you won’t ship, and iterate until the strategy holds end-to-end.
You finish the conversation. Zynkex compiles the strategic work you just did together into two documents: a Strategy Plan with a prominent Decision Log built in, and a Build Brief for the engineering team. You walk out with the full plan, not notes to translate later.
Every session produces two documents
The strategic document the boardroom or team works from. Positioning, pathway, load-bearing constraint, the explicit list of what you won’t ship, and the Decision Log capturing every call made and why.
The spec your AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable) build from end-to-end. Every interaction tagged, every directive named, every operational handoff routed.
What “strategic work” actually looks like inside a Zynkex session. Each move is a kind of thinking, and each shows up across the case studies on the How it works page.

Zynkex is a strategic deliberation system. It runs a structured conversation that produces two written deliverables: a Strategy Plan with a prominent Decision Log capturing every call made and why, and a Build Brief that an engineering team or AI coding tool can build from. The conversation has a specific posture, a specific discipline, and a specific sequence of moves run the same way every session.
General-purpose AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini are built to handle the broadest possible range of knowledge-work tasks competently. That breadth is what makes them genuinely useful for most things. It is also why they were not designed for the specific demands of strategic deliberation, where being agreeable can be a liability, where the question you brought is often the wrong place to start, and where the conversation has to converge on a written, defensible document rather than another round of helpful exchange.
| Zynkex | General-purpose AI assistants |
|---|---|
| Works at the level of strategic intent, not just the immediate request | Completes the request as asked |
| Builds the strategy by pressure-testing each move along the way | Builds on the framing you brought |
| Runs the same encoded methodology in every session | Adapts its approach to whatever the prompt is |
| The conversation reaches a natural end and produces a Strategy Plan and a Build Brief, structured by a well-tested methodology | The conversation has no natural end. It continues for as long as you keep prompting |
| Is built end-to-end for strategic deliberation | Is a general-purpose engine that other AI products build on top of |
A $200K consulting engagement isn’t expensive because strategic thinking is expensive. It’s expensive because of what’s bundled around it: partners, junior teams, engagement structures, deck production. A freelance consultant strips most of that away and still costs $1,200 because their hourly time is what you’re paying for instead. Zynkex strips the last layer too. What you pay $99 for is the strategic thinking itself, end to end.
| Option | Cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Fractional CSO | $15K-$30K / month | A senior advisor on retainer. |
| Freelance strategy consultant($150/hr × 8-10 hrs) | $1,200-$1,500 | A short-form advisory engagement. |
| Generalist AI chatbot(ChatGPT, Claude, default settings) | $0-$20 / month | An agreeable conversation. No methodology, no refusal, no defensible artifact. |
| Zynkex session(Pathway tier) | $99 per session | Strategy Plan (with Decision Log) + Build Brief. |
